These locks feature built-in WiFi so you don’t need to purchase additional hubs or accessories for remote access of your lock. When a lock is paired to your smartphone and connected to your home’s WiFi network, conveniently use the Schlage Home app to:
- Lock/unlock, check your lock’s status from anywhere
- Manage up to 100 unique access codes per lock
- Schedule access codes as always-on, recurring at specific times / days, or temporary with a specific start and end date / time
- Share virtual keys for full administrative access or guest lock/unlock only access
- View history log for your lock

The Schlage Sense deadbolt features Bluetooth technology allowing you to easily use your smartphone with the Schlage Home app to:

App works well however needs some improvements in the Wi-Fi connectivity. the app does not show if it is currently connected to Wi-Fi. settings or information, should show that it is connected to Wi-Fi and what the strength is. Instead, it presents the screen asking for a Wi-Fi password giving impression it is not connected. That's another issue, it does not appear to save the password. After an outage it does not appear to reconnect. Of course I can't be sure because of the first problem.
This app still works even when your lock does not work. Even with full battery pack, my front door lock keypad will go black and not respond to any key presses. The app still works during this time. The only fix I have is the disconnect the battery pack and reconnect it. It would almost be handy to have something that would automatically reload the lock itself at like 3:00 in the morning every night to ensure it keeps working. At least until they fix the bug.
UPDATE - so glitchy, often doesn't sync or you have to remove / replace the battery case to get the lock to connect or wifi. Would definitely not purchase this product again. Definitely not a consumer-ready solution. It's ok overall but the physical lock does not sync rapidly with the app and sometimes it falls out of sync requiring a "hard reboot" of the lock. Or you have to hit refresh to show lack status despite having status real-time in the History. Overall app is surprisingly half-baked.
