As for the correct method of seeking forgiveness, it is possible to say that Islamic law did not provide us with a specific model for the method of seeking forgiveness or its formulas, as the Holy Qur’an contains many verses that It contains the formula for forgiveness, as it was mentioned by the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, many of them, and it was mentioned in the Qur’an about seeking forgiveness, as God Almighty says, “And whoever does evil or wrongs himself and then seeks God’s forgiveness will find God Forgiving, Merciful.”
