Current version is essentially useless, I miss the prior functional version. As others seem to be experiencing, there are major issues with articles loading. I can load one article and that is it. If I wish to read another I must close the app, making sure it is not running in the background, and relaunch to read another article. Every time. I have tried clearing the cache, all data, and even uninstalled and reinstalled with no success. As a result I am exploring other news agencies.
This app USED to be fantastic, but no longer. I have the same issue as many others have reported. I can only read one or two articles before the app just shows an unending spinning wheel then I have to fully close the app and reopen it and go through the whole ordeal over and over. In addition, the app randomly crashes/closes itself in the midst of reading an article. I, too, have uninstalled and reinstalled the app to no avail. The whole experience is aggravating and disappointing.
Latest update provides somewhat improved performance over the previous version, which was effectively unusable. Now, one can read a few more stories before the app stalls when loading a selected story. I'm able to implement a temporary fix once the problem manifests, by closing the app, clearing the cache, and re-launching, suggesting this should be a a simple fix for the developer.
