ARSpeedScope - Estimate speed Description
Note: To use this app, your device must be compatible with Google Play Services For AR (ARCore).
Estimate the speed of objects moving over flat, horizontal surfaces with this app. It uses augmented reality to detect surfaces. Simply select the surface the object is on and point the on-screen cursor at the object to estimate its instantaneous and average speed.
You can estimate the speed of miniature train or car models, as well as autonomous mobile robots or industrial actuators moving on a flat surface. You can also use it to track the speed of anything else you want to try, like your pet in your living room.
For the best results, make sure to correctly select the surface the objects are moving on. Verify that the point matrix stays aligned with the actual surface as you move your device to achieve accurate estimations.
