ACCESS AND SECURITY
To protect your data, log into the BARMER app with your BARMER user account. A device binding, which you set up after your first login, provides additional security.
You do not have an account? Register in the app. Then confirm your identity once digitally with our TÜV-certified partner Nect or have an activation code sent to you by post. You can also use other BARMER apps and services with your access data.

- Android 7 or higher
- Device with an unchanged operating system (no root or similar)

I love the app, it's easy to use, has everything you need to do your business with Barmer without having to lose time making appointments and driving to the offices. The one thing that I miss is English support for the app because I'm still learning German and it's hard to understand everything without using Google Translate. Please add English support and it would be the perfect app!
The easiest and most convenient way to interact with the BARMER portal. Sending a doctor's note for medical leave (AU - Arbeitsunfähigkeitsbescheinigung) takes just a few screen taps and a built-in document recognition from the camera. Bonus - app authentication with the fingerprint is both secure and easy. BARMER, thanks for being so digitally advanced!
Unknown... Can't translate in app! Why is there no languages settings options? Your development team could include the Google translate API to automatically translate in app automatically to any language Google supports! Without help from my wife, currently this app is unusable to me as my German language skills are basic at best. I'm sure it's a good app judging by other reviews, one of which says there is work on translation from 4 months ago... Any progress? I'd change rating if so!
