The BC Hydro EV network currently has over 160 chargers across B.C., and there are more on the way. Use the BC Hydro EV mobile app to charge your vehicle at our fast charging stations, plus other networks across North America. You can also set up charging notifications, station status updates and order and manage RFID cards for use at charging stations.

The redesigned BC Hydro EV app is launching with new features, including:
- Charging activity reports, to help you understand your car’s charge
- Improved account security with two-factor authentication
- Popular times graphs for chargers, so you can better plan your next charge
- Share your experience with charging site ratings, reviews and images
- Manage your wallet with auto-reload

The old app was simple. Elegant. Intuitive. This new apps adds unnecessarily complexity for no reason. Why not just copy the UI from the old app and build on it. HOW THE HELL DO I FAVOURITE A STATION????? I'm not going to go to every station on the map and favourite each individual plug, that's just STUPID. Whoever you hired to rewrite this app, you paid too much.

After app update I can no longer sign in with my new password. The password field in the app doesn't allow for enough characters for my password and I'm not going to shorten it to a less secure password. It's ridiculous that in 2024 a password would be so character limited like that. Plus auto reload is BS and shouldn't be a feature of any charging app. We also shouldn't need 6+ different apps just to charge. Just allow usage of credit cards at the chargers

Terrible after the update! This app no longer works with Android Auto, and no longer detects charging sessions (either activated with RFID or directly from the app). If I am charging, I have no idea what the progress is unless I sit in my car the whole time to watch it. Ridiculous!
