Comments about Borescope ET16 Android Version

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED...I've come to expect more from the makers of exceptional tools for electrical tradesmen. My expectations weren't unrealistic. I sought: functionality, reliability and, durability. I found only FRUSTRATION . I first used the ET16 1½ years ago. The ET16 & App worked flawlessly. Today I opened a new unit, downloaded the app, and to my surprise began a frustration filled battle, fighting it out with a glitch filled, crash prone app, to no avail. ★★★WORST KLEIN PRODUCT EVER★★★
First time I connected the camera the screen was black with no video feed. Opened developer options on my phone and went to default USB configuration and selected photo transfer. Reconnected it to my phone and it started working perfectly as well as the photo and video capturing feature. Went back into developer options and changed the default USB configuration back to file transfer as that is my preference and it is still working great. Hope this helps others!! Using a Galaxy S9+ on Android 10.
Only works on my new phone. Two different old phones would not work. One wouldn't even find the app in the app store. It found the ET20 version, but I need the ET16. So it most likely is not compatible with the J7. This one found it, but did not show a picture when using it. I give the 3 star for it working on my new phone. All though, recording or picture or video seem lost on my phone, so I use a screenshot when I need a picture of what I'm looking at.
