The people that arent rating this app highly are very obviously not setting it up intuitively. Duh, it's not useful to remap the 'single press' volume down function. But let's say the reaped the 'double press' of the volume down key to something else. The oringal volume control is then retwkned, but you've gained instant access to let's say the voice recorder. That speed might allow you to catch some valuable conversation before it's over. That's a very basic example, the apps potential is huge.

This is a life saver. My volume up button strated freaking out and would just pump it up to max with a breeze. Even removing the volume button itself didnt work. This stopped it from freaking out on me. I can change my volume in other ways so it doesn't bother me that they have no functionality. Thank you!!!

The paid version might be good. The free version is not really usable: thankfully free of ads but just too limited (e.g. no media playback controls).
