CleanPal Description

CleanPal provides a simple way to review storage items on your device. Open the app to view storage usage.
The app can display certain non-media files that may appear in storage folders, including:
- Ad Stored Files – files generated by in-app advertising components
- Unneeded APKs – outdated or unused installation packages
- Files Left After Uninstall – files that may remain after an app is removed
- Short-Lived Temp Files – temporary files created during app activity
- App Crash Reports – diagnostic files generated after an app crash
- Folders with No Content – folders that currently contain no files
Users can review these items and choose whether to remove them. All actions are initiated and confirmed by the user.
CleanPal also includes a speaker test tool that plays sound waves to help clear dust from the device speaker.
Why Storage Access Is Requested
CleanPal may request All Files Access permission to display files stored in certain directories on your device.
Some storage locations are not fully accessible through standard Android storage APIs. This permission allows the app to read directory information so that files in those locations can be shown in the app.
- File scanning takes place locally on the device
- The app does not upload personal file content
- Users remain in control of all file actions
If this permission is not granted, some directories may not be displayed in the app.

What is an XAPK file, and what should I do if the CleanPal I downloaded is an XAPK file?

Open up

A file with .xapk extension is a compressed package file. It is a container file format that incorporates APK and additional associated files required for the installation. The XAPK format was introduced to package the APK file and OBB file together for a seamless delivery and installation process. XAPK format can help reduce the package size of application. On mobile phones, users need to install the XAPK installer first, and then install XAPK files through that installer. You can find the installer here:https://apkcombo.com/how-to-install/. But on PC client, you just need to put the file on LDPlayer.
