Comments about File Manager: File Browser Android Version

I got this app because I needed to be able to manipulate extensions, and MyFiles won't let you do that. I've used this for a couple of years now (sparingly as I despise those freaking ads!), but tonight, I added extensions to a couple of dozen files. 3 of them got turned into folders, and I can't change them back. At least they're backed up on the computer!
This app takes 30 seconds to start (what is it doing?) and then it repeatedly redraws the screen. It's like a high-schooler's first attempt at programming an app. If you're willing to tolerate such bugs, removing the ads subscribes you for a dollar a week (in 2022 maybe more by the time you read this). The other reviews describe multiple other problems but I uninstalled before suffering those myself. There are better alternatives. Much better.
first of all it's impossible to find files. second it is impossible to manage files and delete them when you need more space in your phone. third it is difficult to manipulate files once they are stored in this black hole. less of a file manager and more of a way to take up space in my Limited drive. I'm getting rid of this junk now and finding a better app to manage my documents and pictures.

What is an XAPK file, and what should I do if the File Manager: File Browser I downloaded is an XAPK file?

A file with .xapk extension is a compressed package file. It is a container file format that incorporates APK and additional associated files required for the installation.
