I have a very long master list of (300+) items that I buy. I had them sorted by aisle in my store, but the app reordered them. So I numbered them (starting at 1000 and counting up by 5s - 1000, 1005, 1010,... to account for future additions) and now my list stays in order. When it's time to shop, I just cross off the items I don't need. It's also very easy to copy items from one list to another. The app isn't entirely intuitive, but when I had a question, the developer was quick to respond.

Way more versatile than out of milk. Tap on the Checkbox should cross it off list, and tap on item or long press for other options like multi-select and edit The only thing missing is the web interface that Out of Milk has. If I could use my computer to build the lists, that would be the fifth star

Just started using after a very long search for a shopping app with all of the features I wanted. Set up my lists, categories and sync...used for two days and was ready to implement as our family shopping app. Then came the ads...and they are ever-present, animated and annoying. It's a shame that there doesn't appear to be a paid version, as the app is actually quite well-designed and worth a one-off payment. The search continues...
