I like the app and the accuracy of the translations. But there's two flaws that drives me mad. When you use the voice translation option you have no ability to use punctuation. Other voice to text applications will automatically punctuate your speech. The other issue I have is with how long the mic will remain "hot." So many times I'm finding myself having to speak as fast as possible without pausing or else the mic stops listening and I have to start all over again.

It's okay. It turns a lot of words into the hybridized "Japanglish" words when translating from English to Japanese. If a developer sees this, please remove this or add an option to scrutinize whether the translations will be in proper Japanese or Hybrid translations. Otherwise, pretty easy to figure out, use, and has a better mic app for spoken translations over Google Translate.

This app just keeps getting better. When it first released, there were no options to log in as a Pro user, upload documents and images, or see alternate translations. I added stars as they added features, and the one thing that was still missing was the per-word changes that have been a staple of the desktop version. Now they have that in this app, so I have no complaints. DeepL is the most accurate machine translation service I know of outside of some specialized ones for single language pairs.
