Comments about Google Home Android Version
Now I need HOME to run my Nest thermostat. Used to work just fine in the Nest app. Now, it's less user friendly and needs more tapping to get me less functionality. Great job, Google! Much like Microsoft, "G" is great at taking a good product and improving it to the point of being unusable. I suppose it's time for me to stop dragging my feet and finally get serious about exploring the smart thermostat competition.
Very difficult to use. Seems more catered to setting up things like your lights, home temperatures, etc. To do a very simple thing such as set up to cast to a t.v. is difficult, not user friendly. Once you have spent a lot of time and energy setting it up, it works great. But if anything goes wrong, the fear of dread overcomes you knowing you'll have to go back in.
It's awful! My assistant is constantly offline. I spend more time trying to fix it than being able to use it! 6 months after my last review, the issues continue. My lights won't stay connected. Sometimes, they come on when I ask, other times just a chime. Other times, it tells me something went wrong..." I've uninstalled/reinstalled ad nauseum. Just about every weekend, I reset/resync my devices. I'm going back to regular light bulbs and no hub. There is nothing "smart" about this system!!

Is Google Home safe for my device?
Open up
Yes, Google Home follows the Google Play content guidelines to ensure safe use on your Android device.
What is an XAPK file, and what should I do if the Google Home I downloaded is an XAPK file?
Open up
A file with .xapk extension is a compressed package file. It is a container file format that incorporates APK and additional associated files required for the installation.
The XAPK format was introduced to package the APK file and OBB file together for a seamless delivery and installation process.
XAPK format can help reduce the package size of application.
On mobile phones, users need to install the XAPK installer first, and then install XAPK files through that installer. You can find the installer here:https://apkcombo.com/how-to-install/. But on PC client, you just need to put the file on LDPlayer.
Can I play Google Home on my computer?
