I will miss this app, it has been a staple of my music room for years but I just realized it was tracking my location and sharing it with third parties which is unreasonable behaviour for a guitar tuner. I can't be mad I should have read the fine print. Lesson learned, and I'll be suggesting a replacement for all students. Left two stars for solid performance.

Honestly it's only three starts because they started just recently adding ads and have a premium version. Which honestly made me sad because I honestly enjoyed using the app. Now I have to find me a different one because I can not stand ads when trying to practice my instrument. BTW you are allowed to tune for free but you can't record for free anymore. I hate the fact that many good apps are now making people pay to not watch ads and use premium. But I get it. They want to make more profit.

Easily the most accurate I've been able to find (unfortunately an absolute necessity for my low skill level). My favorite guitar sometimes has a tendency to lose tone on certain strings and specific points on the neck, and this helps me find the middle ground so I can try and keep it consistent. Very, very good for beginners or anyone with suspected similar issues. Pros may or may not need help, but this would be an excellent tool to validate tones/tuning even at that level.
