A life dedicated to radio and Latin music Since 1981, Edwin Fuentes has been a prominent figure in the world of radio in Puerto Rico.
His career began at WQBS San Juan Salsa 63, where he discovered his talent as a disc jockey and announcer, marking the beginning of a passion that would define his life.
In 1988, Edwin took an important step as master of ceremony at the Saint Just Festival, which led him to join Radio Voz FM 108, the number one salsa station in Puerto Rico. There he co-created the program Las Décadas de la Salsa and later launched his solo project, Lo Mejor de la Música Latina, an innovative space that offered opportunities to new talents in the tropical and salsa genre.
In 1991, this project expanded to television through Channel 18, where Edwin produced and presented a program that became a platform for artists such as Domingo Quiñones, Tito Rojas, Jerry Rivera, and many others who took their first steps in your stage. During this stage, Edwin was not only master of ceremonies, but also producer, content creator and manager of everything related to the show.
Throughout his career, Edwin has worked as master of ceremony at renowned events, patron saint festivities and festivals such as the Macabeo Festival, always demonstrating his passion for communication and entertainment.
With the arrival of the digital age, Edwin reinvented his career by creating podcasts and live shows through social platforms.
In 2017, he launched La Rodante, a concept that combines radio, video and exploration of Puerto Rican culture, and which is now evolving into his most recent project: La Rodante FM, an online station dedicated to keeping Puerto music and talent alive. Rich. Edwin Fuentes is, without a doubt, an authentic and passionate voice who continues to inspire new generations with his dedication to the art of communication and Latin music.
