You can also use the widgets to conveniently see notifications in one place. For example all your YouTube subscription notifications or podcast notifications in one widget. You can directly open the video or podcast from the widget or dismiss the notification right from the widget.
The widget is highly customizable. In addition to granular control on font colors and background color you can also add or remove components like the widget title, app label on each notification and a dismiss button. Also on android 12 devices you can choose to set the colors to be automatically chosen from the Material you color palette.
