UPDA was held to replace the Academic Potential Test (TPA) which is a requirement for the ITB postgraduate program.

ITB Postgraduate School Requirements
Graduates of Bachelor (S1) or Master (S2) Programs from accredited tertiary institutions or equivalent within the scope of the appropriate scientific field.
Have adequate English language skills, with details of the standard scores recognized by ITB as follows:
- Minimum TOEFL iBT of 56, or
- Minimum TOEFL ITP of 475, or
- Minimum TOEIC of 500, or
- Minimum IELTS of 5, or
- ELPT ITB minimum of 77
Have adequate academic potential, as evidenced by a minimum TPA BAPPENAS score of 475 or UPDA
Pass the selection requirements and academic abilities carried out by the destination study program.
Pay the selection fee.
ITB Postgraduate School Document Requirements
Original diploma of Bachelor or Master program
Original academic transcript of Bachelor or Master program, from semester 1 to. last semester
Recent color passport photo (background on the passport photo is not specified by ITB)
Recommendations from a minimum of two people (lecturers and/or superiors of prospective students)
Proof of ownership of Health Insurance which can facilitate hospitalization due to illness.
Statement of Purpose
Letter of Joining a Masters or Doctoral Program
Document Authenticity Statement
Statement of Ability to Fund the Masters Program
Document proof of original English proficiency, in the form of:
- TOEFL iBT with a minimum score of 56, or
-TOEFLITP with a minimum score of 475, or

- TOEIC with a minimum score of 500, or
- IELTS with a minimum score of 5, or
- ELPT ITB with a minimum score of 77
- Results of TPA BAPPENAS with a minimum value of 475 or UPDA
