Manual Photography Companion by Brownlow BioSciences
Uses the current light level measured by your mobile device (via the camera
and also the light sensor) to find the perfect settings for your photography when you are using manual camera mode on your DSLR.
Firstly add to your setup , include if you are using a tripod or not (which helps with picture stability), if you are shooting in macro and your lens focal length.
Then the phone should work out what aperture (f stop), ISO and Shutter Speed for your Camera based on the current live light levels.
The app also offers a trouble shooter whilst keeping the exposure level within the correct range, so you can decrease for example the aperture (f stop) and the other factors will compensate this within the other constraints, this will also inform you if your troubleshooting request is out of scope for the current light (Exposure Value)
We will have future updates to include the light compensation for manual flash use.
