Comments about MySudo – Protect your identity Android Version
Updated 7/1/23. It's been working ok for the past three months. I haven't had any issues that I can recall. Adding a star for that. It could use the following features: Archive old SMS. Export/import SMS. Mute incoming calls (instead of declining). Unified inbox/call view. Dedicated voicemail section. Looking forward to seeing this app and platform evolve!
Great app, work in progress on Android though. No virtual cards on Android. Also it only allows you to backup via Google drive nothing else. Also if you make and pay for an account on Android switching to iPhone is near impossible. Same vice versa. It needs a lot of features still to be built in and it seems like they are working on it but it's not there yet. Good service overall though. Just know it's not meant for Android, least not yet. Also accounts only accessible via Google play services.
I paid for the app. When I tried to move it to a different device, because of a trial limit I had expended, the app won't load. The issue is I paid for it on the second device. Clearly, since they don't use a cell number or email, they are fingerprinting by some other means. Perhaps IMEI or IMSI, which may be more privacy invasive than an email. Still locked out of what I paid for and I am dissatisfied. You would think it would be as easy as no longer blacklisting a device, but apparently not.
