Keeper Password Manager Description

Keeper is the leading password manager, combining enterprise-grade security with real human support. Rated 4.7 stars by 111,000 people and trusted by 95,000+ businesses and Fortune 500 companies globally. Named Password Manager of the Year by PCMag and the Top-Ranked Identity Security Solution by Newsweek.

SIGN IN INSTANTLY
Generate strong, unguessable passwords and passphrases with one tap, then autofill them in any app or website. Create and save passkeys that sync across all your devices, and store 2FA codes right inside your vault for one-tap logins with no separate authenticator app needed. Unlock everything instantly with fingerprint or face unlock. Keeper uses the AccessibilityService API for KeeperFill to securely autofill your login credentials across mobile apps and browsers. Works with Wear OS so you can use your smartwatch as a second factor to unlock your vault.

WORLD-CLASS SECURITY
Every record is encrypted on your device before it ever touches our servers – unreadable to everyone, including Keeper. Lock or wipe any lost device remotely. Protect your vault with hardware security keys like YubiKey®. The first password manager to deploy quantum-resistant cryptography directly into the app, to protect your data in transit against quantum threats. SOC 2 Type I and II; ISO 27001, 27017 and 27018 certified; FedRAMP High Certified and GovRAMP High Authorized; and recognized in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Privileged Access Management.

MORE THAN JUST PASSWORDS
Keeper is your complete digital vault – store and organize your payment cards, passports, driver's licenses, insurance cards, secure notes, SSH keys, software licenses and medical records alongside your passwords. Everything encrypted, everything searchable, everything instantly available on every device. Automatically fill payment details, addresses and forms on any website – saving you time on everything you do online, every single day.

24/7 EXPERT SUPPORT
Get help from a real Keeper expert anytime. Our dedicated support team is available around the clock, every day of the year. No bots and no week-long email chains – just professional team members who help you.

DARK WEB MONITORING
BreachWatch® continuously scans the dark web and alerts you the moment one of your accounts appears in a data breach, so you can change the password before cybercriminals use it. Best of all, monitoring runs entirely within Keeper's own secure infrastructure – your personal data stays completely private.

SECURELY SHARE PASSWORDS AND ACCESS
Share a password, passkey or file with anyone – even people who don't use Keeper – with a One-Time Share link that expires automatically. Set view-only or full edit access, revoke instantly and see changes sync in real time. Organize credentials in shared folders with nested subfolders and individual permissions for each person. No duplicate copies, no emailing passwords ever again.

PERFECT FOR FAMILIES
Keeper Family includes five private vaults, 10GB of secure file storage, unlimited devices and emergency access. Store the Wi-Fi password, streaming logins, insurance documents and passport photos in one place everyone you trust can reach. If your employer uses Keeper, ask about a free family plan – included with every business license.

GET STARTED QUICKLY
Seamlessly import all your passwords from Chrome, Google Password Manager, 1Password, LastPass, Bitwarden, Dashlane and more, including direct secure transfer from other apps.

Comments about Keeper Password Manager Android Version

Keeper is one of the better password managers on the market. However it is heavily overpriced, a bit slow sometimes and doesn't work with all apps and websites. It is full of ads and wants you to pay for every single extra feature which is quite annoying. I switched to another more modern passwort manager that has about the same core features but is for free atm...
Horrible integration. Having to sign in so often with the master password is a real pain. Also because it doesn't often detect when credentials are needed, I have to copy and paste the credentials which exposes them to other apps that use the clipboard. So this is a very tedious and risky implementation. I use it because it's free from my company, but it's the worse I've used. It has an excellent feature set though, just horrible implementation.
I first began using this app in 2011. I chose the free version, because I didn't need what the pay version offered, even though they push it on you with every chance they get. Now, I've had files just randomly multiply - 12 of the same file. But, deleting the extra 11 is not allowed, unless I upgrade to the pay version. I didn't create them, and now I have to pay to delete them?? How about I delete the app? After 12 years, I hate to do it. Don't offer a free version if you don't want it used.
