SecureChats KeyBoard Description
SecureChats KEYBOARD is an Android keyboard that brings secure end-to-end encryption (E2EE) to any messenger, using the Signal Protocol—and now Kyber post-quantum encryption—all without relying on a server. Communicate safely and independently, regardless of legal changes or whether your favorite messenger supports E2EE.
Why SecureChats KEYBOARD?
Laws like the planned EU chat control may threaten privacy in E2EE messengers (e.g., WhatsApp or Signal). While robust solutions like PGP exist, they can be cumbersome. SecureChats KEYBOARD simplifies secure communication by integrating the Signal Protocol (X3DH and Double Ratchet algorithms) directly into an Android keyboard—now enhanced with Kyber post-quantum encryption for the next generation of cryptographic security.
Features
• Send & receive encrypted messages in any messenger via the separate text field above the keyboard
• Use the clipboard to decode incoming messages
• Manage your own contact list directly within the keyboard
• Message log for reviewing sent and received messages
• Raw mode or Fairytale mode: choose JSON output or hide data in a decoy text
• Verify contacts via fingerprint check to confirm authenticity
• Dark & Light themes to suit your preference
• Q&A view for quick guidance
Security
SecureChats KEYBOARD uses the same established cryptographic methods of the Signal Protocol.
• X25519 with SHA-512 for the X3DH Key Agreement
• Double Ratchet for message exchange with AES-256-CBC
• SHA-256 for chain calculations
• Kyber post-quantum encryption for future-proof security
Limitations
• One-to-one chats are fully supported. In group chats, only the intended recipient can decrypt the message.
• Some messengers (like Telegram) paste text as HTML, disrupting Fairytale mode. Raw mode remains reliable.
• Certain messengers (like Threema) limit message size (~3500 bytes), so only 500 characters are permitted in Raw and Fairytale modes across all messengers.
Experience truly independent and robust encryption in any app—secure your conversations with SecureChats KEYBOARD.
