SensorPro Description
The Device allows tracking of the environmental data temperature and humidity. These data are saved locally onto the Device. The Device has a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module which allows other Bluetooth enabled devices in the vicinity to connect to the Device and show current measured values as well as download saved data.
This App allows the user to connect a mobile phone or tablet to the Device and show current measured values as well as download saved data. In order to connect an Android mobile phone or tablet to a Device via BLE, Android demands turning on the location services and providing to the app access to location data. This is a general Android/BLE demand to allow scanning for nearby devices, independent of whether or not location data are used.

When this app was working, I really liked it. It was accurate and was so nice to just be able to see the temperature and humidity of my cellar with a less expensive alternative. Unfortunately, the app stopped working after less than a year of use. It's not the unit because I've already replaced the battery. The app won't read like it has before. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and now it won't even load to let me pair it back up for use.
Nice graph and allows you to edit the temperature from F to C, you can correct the temperature or humidity if you feel its not accurate. However, there's a big issue with the permission.. The app displays a warning if I don't allow using location at all times as opposed to using location while the app is in use. This is nonsense and makes the app unusable unless you give full permission. I don't see why the app needs the location permission even when the app is not being used.This is not map app
Location permission is now changed, so it isn't required all the time. Works well and syncs with thermometer. The alarm only works if you are within range at the time. No retrospective alarm.
