Horrible and unnecessary. SG is not a huge manufacturer of smart devices so they do not need their own hub. It would be way better if SG decided to do something sensible like not using bluetooth for communications, and switching over to either thread or z-wave. The hub has a total of 17 supported devices which is just sad. I dont think you can control the devices remotely, but if you wanted to you need to press the devices to make changes to them. would give 0 stars. The latency is also bad

I've had sg smart in my home for the last year, never seem to be able to connect, sometimes maybe it's able to turn of the lights who knows... if I had the know what I know now, I would never have bought this faulty hardware, accompanied with this useless software!

Using this app for one year now, and so far so good! I would just improve it and this point: when starting the app, if bluetooth and GPS are not activated the app becomes not manageable, to the point that i have to restart the app. And for me, that I mostly use the app to control via gateway e.g. via Internet, is quite annoying. I would ask to optimize the app, and make it possible to use also without the need to activate Bluetooth and GPS, and remind to activate them if strictly needed.
