App seems to be pretty functional and setup was easy. Functionality wise would love to make this a 5 star. Unfortunately $17/year or $29/lifetime is simply far too expensive. Perhaps if I lost the remote, or it was otherwise not an option. But the advertising in app is extremely intrusive(app loads full screen add when opened), and the pricing is excessive.

I don't know if it's the app or the LG TV, but I dislike them both equally. It connects to the TV when it feels like it, not when I want or need it to. The TV also connects to the wifi when it feels like it. The app keeps asking me to sign up for premium, but why would I do that when it barely works for free? Don't ever buy a LG tv and you won't have to use this app. Life is not Good. 😒

this should just be a paid app.. you can pretty much only turn the volume up and change the the channel up or down with the basic version. that's it, you can literally do nothing else.. you can't is the controller to go up down left or right to select anything you can't press the okay button you can't press the Netflix button, you literally can't do anything. just seems silly to have a version with ads that you still can't even use.
