SmartSearch is an intelligent text to image search application based on OpenAI, running entirely on your mobile device without the need for an internet connection. It can help you quickly locate images on your phone using text keywords, photo descriptions, or even photo classification information.

1. Purpose?
You must have experienced this: suddenly remembering an interesting picture lying in your phone's photo album, but there are too many photos to find it.

With SmartSearch, you can use any description you can think of about the image to find the picture you want, such as "red flower", "cute child", "photo of two people", "evening sunset", "watching the sunrise by the sea", "emoji", "got married"...

All this happens only on your local device, without needing an internet connection. You don't have to worry about privacy leaks; your album and searches are known only to you.
2. How to use？

On the first run, the app needs to build an index for your images. Depending on your phone's performance and the total number of images, this may take some time.

However, you don't have to wait for it to finish; the build task can run in the background.

Once the build task is complete, you can use any description you can think of to search your image library. When new images are added, you can include them in your index library through incremental building the next time you open the app.

3. Will the app leak my privacy?

No need to worry at all. SmartSearch runs entirely locally without an internet connection by loading AI models (however, due to size restrictions from app stores like Google Play, model files cannot be packaged within the app, so you need to download the model files when running for the first time).

You can wait for the model files to download, then disconnect from the internet and authorize the app to read your photo album for building. This ensures your images won't be uploaded anywhere else. So, using SmartSearch is completely privacy-safe.

Since SmartSearch runs AI models, it requires a certain level of phone performance. Please ensure your Android version is at least 10.0 or higher.
