UTR Estimator Description
UTR Estimator is app where you can analyse the amount of change in your UTR.
How it works:
Games Won
This is the total number of games lost by you during the match. For example, if you won two sets 6-4 and 6-1. The total number of games you won would be 12.
Games Lost
This is the total number of games lost by you during the match. For example, if you won two sets 6-4 and 6-1. The total number of games you lost would be 5.
My UTR
This is your UTR at the time of the match. UTR values range from beginner (1.00) to expert (16.00). To determine your current UTR use the Universal Tennis App.
Opponent UTR
This is the UTR of your opponent at the time of the match. UTR values range from beginner (1.00) to expert (16.00). To determine your opponent’s current UTR use the Universal Tennis App.
Tournament Level
Select the tournament level for USTA national tournaments from the lowest level (level 7) to the highest level (level 1). This app is only meant to estimate USTA national level tournaments 1-7.
Your UTR Increase
This is the estimated amount of change in your UTR. A positive value indicates your UTR will increase and a negative value indicates your UTR will decrease. Remember the UTR change is calculated by quality of the opponent and the number of games you win and lose. Therefore, it is possible to increase your UTR when losing to a higher UTR opponent if you win enough games. Conversely, it is possible for your UTR to decrease with a victory to a lower UTR player if you lose enough games.
