Edit: takin off a star because the Mutation runs have many bugs. I'm tired of enemies being unattackable until I kill another enemy that I already killed. Or an item thats supposed to copy an ability but instead it just fills one of four inventory slots with an empty slot that I can't put anything in. Lame. This game is great (love the art, music, strategy, polish, replayability). So many times I think I can't win and a few thoughtful moves later I realize I was wrong. Make another one already!

Great game, a few annoying bugs. Sometimes the enemy is predicted to be killed but doesn't end up dying. if the enemy has a blitz attack the game seems to assume it already happened (I was going to parry a blitz and my survivor buff wouldn't work despite full health). Other than that, start of the game isn't balanced as you go though ng+'s. Goblins that blitz 3 dmg and then do 2 are wayyy more difficult than skeletons that do 2 then 1 dmg, forcing early restarts.

Meteorfall (this games predecessor) was fantastic. My original review of this game was mediocre due to high difficulty. I'm amending it as this have is just as good as ours protector but much more complex. They're is a lot of fun to be had here, bit it requires time and practice to learn the individual characters and their abilities.
