It's not bad. The story is pretty good, but your skills are essentially set at the beginning of the game and if you don't pick just the right choices you'll have a bad time. You also don't know how your choices impact anything. I went thru the game twice and got two completely different endings, but I couldn't tell you how. And just when it starts getting interesting, the story cuts off. You want to see all the cool enemy agent drama? It cuts off as if waiting for a sequel to tell you.
This could easily be called Life of a Secret Agent. You are an agent like James Bond: tasked with stopping a supervillain from using the Aegis project to control people remotely. This story has a good plot with excellent dialogue and stats that work perfectly. While this is written well; it's still a short story that has limited romance options. I would recommend that you pick a stat and play to your strengths to win, this game has tough stat checks. It's a decent read.
So... after reading this... I've come to the conclusion I'd be an awful agent considering I'd literally flirt with anyone especially enemy agents. >< On a serious note I ended up staying up reading this the moment it came out. It's a great read :o I got hella attached to the characters throughout the course of reading. I know people don't like a lot of stats but golly I loved looking at them throughout the story. This CYOA has so much to say and boy oh boy did I devour each and every word. The ending also makes it seem like there could be a sequel(?) and if thats the case I'm hella excited for when it happens but until then I'm going to keep replaying this with different choices! And god the amount of achievements to go thru! :D I'm a sucker for achievement hunting. Thanks so much for giving me something to sink my time into.
