If you're playing without microtransactions, it's sometimes necessary to try some missions multiple times to see what approach has a chance of success, and it's important to avoid spending the gold you've saved until your operation is heading in the right direction. Spending some of the gold you have saved on one extra tank or refilling the supply truck at the right time can sometimes mean the difference between defeat and victory.
