Nothing but a money grab. You WILL hit a wall more than once at this game where you can't defeat any levels without upgrading. And in order to do that, you either need to pay their outrageous prices, or grind. And not just grind..but REALLY grind. As in, playing old courses THIRTY TIMES before getting enough gold to upgrade. And let's talk about those upgrades...15000 gold (again, almost 30 times of playing an already defeated level) just to cut a few HUNDREDTHS of a second off the reload time of something that is 3 or 5 seconds! That is nothing but a big Paulie from Goodfellas "F.U. Pay me!" from the developers. And to that I say "F.U. Uninstall!" Even the ads are not worth it. Maybe 100 gold and 11 (ELEVEN!) diamonds for watching an add every 10 minutes. If you really feel the need to win this game and don't want to pay the several HUNDRED dollars that they seem think this what used to be flash style game is worth based on what it would take in purchasing upgrades, then download it 2-3 months before you actually want to play. Then come back every day just for the Daily Reward. After going through the 30 day cycle a few times, you might be able to win.

It's not a bad game. But it pretty quickly devolves into a Pay to Win game unless you want to REALLY grind. Even watching ads don't do much as the rewards for doing so are virtually nothing compared to what you need to upgrade. It's a shame the developers are that greedy. They could have made more ad revenue if they weren't trying to force people to pay money, which most people won't do. Especially not with a game that can get pretty annoying when you are trying to invoke the lightning anywhere near a tower, and it instead selects that tower. Can't tell you how many hard levels I lose due to one enemy slipping by when I couldn't kill it with lightning fast enough due to this. This will also happen with positioning your heroes, or using your heroes active ability. And since you are likely to have them near towers, it happens a lot.

It is a fun time killer if one likes tower defence games. It does bot require money since one can watch videos for gems, however if one wants to speed up that process, the deals are not bad. Graphics are average, gameplay is simple, but can be intense at times. The game is not too hard, I recommend it!
