During the first three months I played this game it was great and addictive. However, as you get to the higher chapters (20+) beating any level has become truly random. It has become stale on its challenges and this is no longer a strategy game and you simply need keep leveling up to get past chanllenges and at the rate resources are provided it can take a very long time and you can get stuck in a level for weeks.

As a massive Stanger Things fan, I give this game 5 stars! I downloaded it during a 12 hour road, trip not expecting much. I'm more of a console gamer than a mobile gamer so I was extremely surprised when it sucked me in for several hours immediately. It's fun, engaging, addictive, and challenging. It's so much more complex than I initially thought! Figuring out how to build to best party for each battle is really enjoyable and collecting, leveling, and customizing characters is so satisfying.

Wish I found this sooner. Only been playing a couple weeks but I am having a lot of fun. The game is very rewarding without being too challenging. I'm able to progress through the story, gain new gear, collect characters and resources all without the game feeling like a huge slog. It's nice to be able to play a fun casual puzzle game without an add every 60 seconds, without in-app purchases which effectively make the game pay to win, and without annoying push notifications every 30 minutes.
