Tacticus as a hole is one of the most fun iPhone games I've played, but it has it's faults. The game play is fairly good and addicting. The music is a 6/10. As someone who doesn't typically like multiplayer, the multiplayer is great. For clarification, you don't actually play against other players in multiplayer, rather other people's accounts. My issue with the game is the difficulty curve. I've been stuck on part 5 for so long that I stopped playing Tacticus a month ago, and missed advents.

Fun game. Menus are too cluttered and there's too much time between doing things, but it's fun. Stats are definitely more valuable than tactics, though. Just following a basic tankier units tank and maximizing target selection really is just overkill unless you're heavily out-statted in which case your tactics won't help anyways.

It's fun, but after a point, you hit a massive paywall. Hero collection becomes a pain of a grind, and supply drops become obsolete because of the system they use. I personally think they usr a build-up system. Basically, at the start of the game, you get your biggest payout with a possible legendary character, which feels good. Once you hit mid to late game, you get NOTHING from these drops, usually a handful of shards and some ascension orbs. After enough time, they give you a big payout.
