It's OK but its hard to get into it for these reasons: Touch screen UI is too clunky for my tastes. The micro transactions are too expensive. Not enough characters. The story is only interesting if you're unfamiliar with FF7 as a whole. If you've already been playing FF games since the 90s, chances are high there's nothing new to gleen from this game.

Love the simplicity and balanced structure of this game. Would love to just play the game offline without random updates or emergency maintenence preventing me from playing when I finally get a chance to. I shouldn't have to wait to get wifi access to play this because I don't want to use all my mobile data on a video game. It's not like it's impossible to make it that way. And might as well get rid of any co-op missions because any chance of being paired with anyone is virtually nonexistent.

I wish it wasn't so expensive. The game's only enjoyable if you take 2-3 months off per full month of gameplay; otherwise, the currency flow slows down to the point where it's not worth the effort anymore. It doesn't help that any "packs" that are actually helpful tend to be $30 or higher. It's a damn shame because the gameplay's super fun, and I like the First Soldier storyline (I know the other two so well already) a lot. Overall, it's a great game with poorly balanced gambling attached.
