As you can guess Quiztallography is a quiz game. The players will have to answer questions on point-symmetry, a fundamental part of Crystallography. Crystallography is the science of crystals (solids, like minerals, where atoms form a periodic arrangement). Point-symmetry deals with the description of polyhedral forms (idealized crystals) through a number of symmetry concepts as rotation axes and reflection planes. Therefore, most of the questions include an interactive 3D design of a polyhedron. The app contains more than 1000 questions and the user can select two playing modes: with time trial (you can set the allowed playing time) or without (you can save your game and resume playing later). Correct answers will produce a variable number of quizpoints (depending on the given question) and failed answers will result in the subtraction of one quizpoint.
