It's a cool concept and pretty funny. It's fine visual and sound design wise. The only issue I had is that when I played ranked mode, there were the two kings and two enemy bishops. Since the AI is smart and couldn't mess up, there was no way for the match to end and I couldn't play that mode again.

The game is fun. The problem is that the game randomly goes through periods where it will randomly crash for days at a time. The crash always happens after I make a move. Almost as if the AI engine has a fatal flaw. This is especially troublesome when we only get so many tries at the daily or weekly challenges. If this bug is fixed, the game would be a solid 4/5.

I came back to this after 2 years, and sadly, the game is in a far worse state than it was. What could have been a fun concept is completely ruined by aggressive ad implementation. You have an option to spend $5 to BANNER ads, not all ads (with some additional minor features). After every game an extremely loud and obnoxious ad plays, oftentimes, multiple ads that take a long time to skip. I would gladly pay for a totally ad free option if presented the option in the future.
