Safe Space Description
Within the framework of the "National Initiative for Digital Safety," the National Cyber Security Agency launches distinguished cyber games aimed at delivering modern cybersecurity awareness content to the target segments through gameplay. Each game is meticulously tailored to align with the age and professional background of the targeted audience, thereby enhancing the initiative's effectiveness and fostering a cyber-secure and technologically adept society.
The game application is based on the design of a futuristic, digitally oriented city populated with icons related to the gaming environment (e.g., planets, stars, moons, computers, technological display devices, smart tablets, etc.).
The participant navigates through the digital/space city and interacts with its icons and smart devices, ensuring a user-friendly experience. During the game, players accumulate coins by solving various puzzles linked to these icons. Each icon presents a set of cybersecurity-related questions.
The puzzles consist of illustrated questions that depict various daily scenarios the participant encounters while using the internet. Some scenarios are positive (represent safe cybersecurity practices), while others are negative (highlight cybersecurity threats).
Throughout their journey in the city, the participant must pass by various icons, each triggering a related puzzle. They are required to solve the puzzle to progress in the game.
The participant must solve the puzzles by determining whether each scenario represents a safe or risky online practice to earn coins, which allow them to advance through the city, access additional questions, and move on to the next levels of the game.
For each correct answer, and upon reaching a certain number of points, participants gain enhanced digital accessibility features, such as text-to-speech conversion, improved voice control systems, or access to the distinguished Digital Safety Planet.
In cases of incorrect answers, participants are granted three additional attempts to correct their responses; however, the number of points awarded decreases with each subsequent attempt.
At the end of each level, the participant gains easier navigation access to a specific section of the digital/space city, reflecting the ability to protect devices and information in accordance with individual needs.
