Tambor Hero Description
The Phoenix Robot team (Colegio SESI-MA), participating in the FIRST LEGO League Challenge Robotics Tournament, were challenged to explore the fascinating world of technology, art and design.
The central question for the challenges and projects was: "How can you use technology and the arts to inspire and engage others?" The evident lack of interest in culture among the new generations accentuates the smaller number of people who practice cultural activities.
Therefore, with the aim of encouraging children and young people to become interested in Maranhão culture, Phoenix Robot decided to create a game inspired by Guitar hero that uses the Divine Box (a typical instrument of Maranhão culture), instead of a guitar.
To develop the game, a partnership was made with the independent game development studio, also from Maranhão, from the city of Timon, HS Studio.
This is how Drum Hero was born.
