(Editing my review since the game is now compatible with Android 10.) Tap Tap Heroes has gradually taken my attention away from other Idle Games. The game shows polish and definitely draws many of the good ideas and functions from other idle games and incorporates them all into one, without locking those features behind a paywall. (One tap event claiming, auto quest dispatching, battle-skipping for the repeatable dailies, etc.) Daily events, quests, and challenges don't feel like a chore to complete, which can't be said for a lot of other idle games out there, so you don't dread spending time logging in each day just to stay caught up. This is personal preference, but the vertical UI is a simple feature, but SO nice and I'm always reminded how much I take it for granted when I open another Idle game and sort of sigh when my whole screen pauses before everything turns sideways. The UI is also very responsive and makes quick navigation a breeze. Heroes have a fair amount of variety, though many of the skills are just kind of okay. A few are kind of flashy and cool, but most are basically just average. Overall a very enjoyable game that doesn't get stale like many others. There are a few quirks and features that are unique, and may take a little getting used to, but once you get in a routine the game is very satisfying. Strongly recommend at least giving it a go.
