The Pyramid Puzzle Description
A young Pharaoh has created a 3D Triangular pyramid with nine tiles on each face.
Every tile has a unique pattern. Objective is to place all tiles on board so that sides of
each tile match the surrounding tiles. Colourful graphics make the puzzle fun and
easy to play but require skill to progress through the levels.
Level 1 provides a taste of the puzzle and tests the player’s ingenuity – wits and
perseverance will be required to progress to Level 2 where the real challenge lies.
Level 2 opens THE PYRAMID to reveal its hidden secrets.
Only the chosen ones who solve Level 2 will reach the Pharaoh’s Treasure Chest.
In Level 1 you build the Base of the pyramid using tile numbers 1 to 9. For your
convenience the first tile has already been placed on the board in its correct position
and orientation.
To play, Click on a tile outside the board to select it, and click on a position on the
board to place it. The reverse process will remove a tile from the board.
The game is managed by use of the Icons described above.
When all nine tiles have been placed on the board, Click Check. If all tiles match, the
following message “Well done! You have successfully completed the Base. Now
download Level 2" appears: at this point your solution will be automatically saved.
Successful completion of Level 1 gives you the Base that forms part of the correct
final solution of the full puzzle and this will be downloaded with your board when
you decide to play Level 2.
A prompt to assist you progress with Level 1 will appear at intervals, suggesting next
correct tile, which you can reject if you rather complete the puzzle on your own.
In Level 2 all icons work the same way as under Level 1 except when you click on
Save, you will be offered to save version 2 and 3 of the solution and these will be
available to upload individually. If you exit the game at any time without saving, the
state of play will be saved as Save 2 and loaded when you resume Play Level 2.
Upload 1 will load the saved version of Level 1, which forms part of the final solution.
We recommend you complete Level 1 first to establish the Base of the pyramid.
On the iPhone version, the expand/squeeze/facilities will all be available to provide
clearer visibility of the board and bring a face of the pyramid in focus.
When all 36 tiles have been placed in correct matching order, clicking on 'Check' icon
will display “Congratulations! you have successfully completed the solution and
reached my Treasure Chest” and a "Submit” option will appear to enable you to
submit your solution along with your personal details. Submit prompt will only
appear when a successful solution is achieved.
It is crucial that you immediately save your solution if the Check function has shown
successful solution and the Submit prompt appears.
