As a huge fan of podcasts and audio fiction, this was what I needed to go from a couch potato to running 5k 3×/week. The overall tone is well-struck; there are serious moments, but overall, it does not get too bleak. I love this app! Which is why it pains me I can't give it the full 5/5. There are too many technical issues with the app itself. It's not unusable, but too frequently, mission updates don't trigger, requiring a reload of the mission. The stats overview simply doesn't work.
I always said: if you see me running, better start to because won't run unless I'm chased. Well now I am :D it's the first app that captivated and motivated me to keep running and it's so much fun. Usually I get bored easily but this is the perfect balance of story and music for me. On top of that I am not a sportsy person but the settings allow a very beginner friendly start and even if you stop running and walk for a while- the zombie chases are ideal motivation to start again.

The story is fun to listen to and motivates you to go out more often!!! but sadly a while ago the GPS stopped working properly and therefore I cannot even enjoy the story anymore. I run 4km usually but now it doesnt even track that anymore. Now apparently I run only 500m and then decide to stand still for the next 20 minutes. This really sucks and has taken away the fun of this app. Hope this issue is fixed soon.
