Thanks to the common protocol, no matter what you choose, you can communicate seamlessly with people on other Mastodon servers. But there’s more: With just one account, you can communicate with people from other fediverse platforms.

Not happy with your choice? You can always switch to a different Mastodon server while taking your followers with you. For advanced users, you can even host your data on your own infrastructure, since Mastodon is open-source.

Mastodon Android版に関するレビュー

昔からある様々なMastodon対応クライアントがある中で、あえてこれを選ぶ理由がない。クライアントアプリの中では後発で、公式を名乗っている割には利点がまったくない。これからMastodonを始めてみようという人や、まだ始めたばかりの人がこれを使うのはおすすめしない。低機能で分かりづらく、素直にブラウザからPWA版を使ったほうが体験は良いだろう。投稿画面を開くボタンは右下にあるが、入力後の投稿ボタンは右上にあるので、今どきの大きな端末では押しにくいと感じるかもしれない。また、タイムラインも1画面に表示できるトゥート数があまりにも少ない。画像が入るとほとんどそれで埋まってしまうだろう。設定項目もこれといって存在しないので、カスタマイズ性はない。簡素で大きな余白のあるデザインや、ホームタイムラインの閲覧と投稿ができればよいという、多機能を求めない人には丁度いいのかもしれない。

このアプリをベースに導入説明をしているサイトが多いので、スターターとしては使える。しかしBREAKING NEWSすら検索でヒットしないなどアプリ機能としては価値はない。常用には向かない。

今年2月にTwitterからマストドン移籍しました｡毎回使用していますが,今日になってから何故かエラーが頻発していて混乱しています‼一刻も早い改善をお願いしますm(_ _)m
