Google Wallet Description
Breeze through checkout on sites, in apps, or in-store wherever contactless payments or Google Pay (GPay) are accepted.
Google Wallet keeps what matters to you in one secure place with built-in, industry-leading privacy and security.
Safer than swiping your debit card or credit card
• When you tap to pay with your Android device, Google Pay (GPay) protects your card information by sharing a unique virtual card number with the store—not your actual card number.
• Tap to pay is fast and easy. Just ensure NFC is enabled in your settings, unlock your phone, hold it near the terminal, and wait for the check mark.
Easily use your loyalty benefits
• Keep loyalty cards and gift cards organized and accessible, so you won’t miss a chance to earn or redeem rewards.
View your receipts in one place
• View receipts from online and in-store transactions right in your digital wallet.
Travel with confidence
• Add your airline boarding pass and get real-time updates, like gate changes and departure times for your flight.
• Store your transit pass in Google Wallet, and pay your fare with just a tap.
Keep event passes handy
• Add your event, concert, and sports tickets to Wallet for easy access. Just open Wallet and show your ticket when entering the event.
• Google Wallet automatically updates your ticket with the latest event information, so you don’t miss a beat.
Speed through online checkout
• Use the GPay button or autofill in Chrome to quickly access credit cards and debit cards saved to your Google Wallet to make online purchases.
Track your online orders
• Link Google Wallet to Gmail to view the status and expected delivery date for your orders – all in one place. (US only)
Manage your digital IDs
• Get quick, reliable access to digital versions of your driver’s license, student ID, and more.
Security and privacy you can count on
• Google Wallet features industry-leading security built right into your Android phone, including 2-Step Verification, Find My Phone, and remote data erase.
• You choose the info you share between Google products, so you can better control your digital footprint.
Google Wallet is available on all Android phones (Pie 9.0+), Wear OS and Google Fitbit devices.

Comments about Google Wallet Android Version
I'm honestly getting really tired of the constant swapping between wallet, pay, pay send, etc., but especially when they discontinue one app while leaving a half baked option as your only choice. I cannot manage my cards because it asks to verify the phone I am using as a passkey, can't verify it, ask for my password which I enter correctly and it accepts it, but it still then wants my phone as a passkey. Awful.
Used it to pay for a $35 tank of gas and it showed a transaction amount of over $170. Had to pull up my card details to make sure it didn't over charge. (It didn't). This glitch combined with the lack of security settings (a review and confirmation screen, option to re-enter pin or fingerprint to confirm) these are basic security settings. Google, once a giant has fallen so far.
I used to use Google Pay all the time and now with the new setup, it to difficult to turn off the NFC. Once you turn it on from the Wallet you have to go like 3 steps deep into the settings menu to turn it off. Gone are the days that you can easily turn it on and off from the pull down menu at the top of in the app. Until this is changed I will go back to using credit cards physically.

Is Google Wallet safe for my device?
Open up
Yes, Google Wallet follows the Google Play content guidelines to ensure safe use on your Android device.
What is an XAPK file, and what should I do if the Google Wallet I downloaded is an XAPK file?
Open up
A file with .xapk extension is a compressed package file. It is a container file format that incorporates APK and additional associated files required for the installation.
The XAPK format was introduced to package the APK file and OBB file together for a seamless delivery and installation process.
XAPK format can help reduce the package size of application.
On mobile phones, users need to install the XAPK installer first, and then install XAPK files through that installer. You can find the installer here:https://apkcombo.com/how-to-install/. But on PC client, you just need to put the file on LDPlayer.
Can I play Google Wallet on my computer?
Open up
Yes, you can play Google Wallet on your computer by installing LDPlayer, an Android emulator. After installing LDPlayer, simply drag and drop the downloaded APK file into the emulator to start playing Google Wallet on PC. Alternatively, you can open the emulator, search for the game or app you want to play, and install it from there.
