Wordpad Plus: Word Processor Description

Write anywhere. Own every word.

Wordpad Plus is a full word processor for Android that works entirely offline. No account, no cloud, no subscription. Open the app and start writing.

Most writing apps ask you to sign in, sync everything to a server, then charge you monthly for formatting that used to be free. Wordpad Plus does the opposite. Your documents stay on your phone, and everything works with the internet switched off.

A REAL RICH TEXT EDITOR
Bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, superscript and subscript. Font size, text color, highlighting, alignment, indentation, bullet lists and numbered lists. Over 20 formatting tools in a toolbar that stays out of the way. Drop in images and build proper tables. Your resume, report, essay or novel comes out looking finished, not like plain notepad text.

LISTEN TO ANY DOCUMENT
Tap play and Wordpad Plus reads your document aloud in a natural voice, highlighting each line as it goes. Set the speed to suit you. Proofread while you walk, or turn a long report into something you can listen to on the commute.

EDIT ON YOUR COMPUTER
Open your documents in any browser on the same Wi-Fi and type on a full-size keyboard. Nothing is uploaded and nothing leaves your network. Your phone simply serves the page. Draft on mobile, finish on a laptop.

TURN PRINT INTO EDITABLE TEXT
Point your camera at a printed or handwritten page and the built-in OCR scanner converts it into text you can actually edit. Lecture notes, receipts, contracts, book pages. Digitized in seconds.

PASTE A LINK, GET A DOCUMENT
Drop in any article link and Wordpad Plus imports it as a clean, fully editable document. Wikipedia entries, blog posts and news articles arrive without ads or clutter, ready to edit and annotate.

PDF AND DOCX, BOTH WAYS
Export any document to PDF in one tap. Import existing PDF and DOCX files to read and edit them. Sign documents right on your phone. No printer, no desktop, no third app.

ORGANIZED, SEARCHABLE, RECOVERABLE
Folders and subfolders keep long projects tidy. Full-text search finds any document instantly. A recycle bin catches accidental deletes, and full backup and restore means a new phone is never a fresh start.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Lock sensitive documents behind a PIN. Keep a journal that records the date and your mood and never leaves your device. No account is required and nothing is synced anywhere, so there is no server holding your writing and no company reading it.

A NOTEPAD AND CHECKLIST APP TOO
Quick notes, reading lists, packing lists, to-dos. Tap to tick an item off, swipe to delete, and finished items tuck themselves away. Dark mode keeps late-night writing easy on the eyes.

WHO IT IS FOR
Students writing essays and digitizing lecture notes. Professionals drafting reports, proposals and resumes. Writers working on scripts, articles and long-form drafts. Anyone who wants a straightforward offline text editor and document editor without a monthly subscription.

Free for all core features. No sign-up, no sync, no strings.

Download Wordpad Plus and write your next document offline, privately, and entirely on your own terms.

Comments about Wordpad Plus: Word Processor Android Version

Easy to use, gives desired looks of documents BUT, I can't find where it saves the files, I can't find how to export the files, I can't even find the folder this installed into. I'm guessing these are rtf files like regular Wordpad. 🤦‍♂️ If I can't export one way or the other, then this is useless. Yes, I've tried reading the instructions. Update: I'm dropping my rating to a 1, as I can't find my document ANYWHERE, nor can I find the program, but my phone says it's installed. What a wasted
Before this one I have used Blaze Wordpad all the time, which was unfortunately taken off the Play Store, but it was great. So I had to look for a new one and discovered this app, which is very similar compared to the other one. Yesterday I started writing my first volume of one of my many cartoon-like stories, and it works great! There are many tools I can use which have a big effect on my writings. Thank you so much for creating this great app. It's hard finding a really good writing app.
After transferring all my stuff to Wordpad Plus I must say like it, I can get what I want to stuff done! Which is basically write down any ideas I get tbh. I really like the knew folder feature though it would make things a lot easier. So that's why I've given it an extra star
