I love YouTube music to bits, more so after I got yt premium. However the is not the same as before, I can't see all the songs I have listened to like last time (I know it's an old update but I still liked the previous one). Then shuffling on the mobile app is horrendous. No matter how many times I press shuffle on my playlist/mixes nothing changes. The order is the same, even when I press shuffle play on the mix/playlist. It just doesn't mix the music. The web ver and desktop ver is fine tho.
With the news that Google Podcasts is phasing out, I decided to start listening to my podcasts here. I never thought I could be so disappointed. Every time I stop a podcast, it resets to the beginning when I resume. I looked through the settings but found nothing. In a Google search, it seems others are having the same issue. It is just not a great experience for podcasts listeners. This is more of a "Save Google Podcast" review as I guess this app is good for music.
This app is awful. It never shows new music, just the same 30 songs over and over again. When I refresh the homepage it doesn't show need music, it just switches them around. I no longer have the option to just quickly choose a song from my homepage because it only shows me music from artists I listened to within the last day, the app is laggy and slow since I updated it, and it has overall become a bad app. I am not the only person to complain about this, and yet nothing has changed. Do better.
