Great game that has improved my chess playing. The aftergame analysis is good but not clear how the A.I marks a move as "bad" or "good". Also, draws should be explained. There have been times that games ended abruptly draws but didn't seem to fit the criteria. Update 4/24: Dropping my rating as the "draws" at the end of marathon games, forced by the AI, are infuriating me. No proper explanation is provided and the draws are not consistent with eachother.

This app has a simple user interface that's a breath of fresh air compared to other phone games. So far the ads have only shown up at the end of a game so they are annoying but not obtrusive. The game defines a draw differently than I was taught, if the King isn't currently in check but can't move anywhere without putting himself in check the computer calls it a draw instead of a win. I don't really mind because it's just practice but I did have to come to reviews to confirm it wasn't just me.

Good app to learn chess and not many adds which is great. I had put thus app at 5 stars but the more I play it the worse it got. You can be one move away from winning and they kick it to a draw. This happens alot. Heads up if the AI is losing match it will just repeat move till it kicks it into draw. More you play the big the joke of an app. It's unbelievable how much the AI will check this app is garbage
